Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: Base: $19.51/hour
Pay: Base: $19.51/hour
- $0.60 Shift Differential
- $0.57 CNA/MA/RBT (Registered Behavior Tech)
- $0.57 Associate’s Degree
- $1.13 Bachelor’s Degree
All weekend hours earn an additional $1.00/hour!
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM
About the Direct Support Professional Role
Crown Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities and life skills. This position focuses on promoting independence, safety, and dignity for residents while providing meaningful support and encouragement in their everyday routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, supervision, and guidance for residents in daily living activities.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
- Encourage skill-building in areas such as communication, nutrition, exercise, and socialization.
- Support individuals in participating in recreational and community activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
- Document and update resident progress notes and case information daily.
- Collaborate with team members to meet individual care plans and goals.
- Uphold all health, safety, and company policies, including medication and emergency procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or behavioral support preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- CNA, MA, or RBT certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift, move, or assist individuals as needed and perform physically active tasks.
