Warehouse Associate Job Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: Fairfield, OH

Warehouse Associate Requirements/Qualifications

Resume and interview required.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Previous forklift experience preferred.
Ability to pass required PIT certifications.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
Basic computer and RF scanner knowledge preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Dependable and reliable.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales personnel, and internal staff.
Ability to regularly lift and move 50–80 lbs.
Ability to occasionally team-lift or team-move items weighing 80–150 lbs.
Ability to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.

About the Warehouse Associate Role

As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Unload, sort, and stage incoming products and materials.
Pick and fill customer orders from warehouse stock.
Sort, stage, and prepare orders for shipment using an RF scanning system.
Manually pull specialized products such as sample chairs, parts, and literature as needed.
Sort and place stock products on racks, shelves, or bins according to assigned locations.
Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
Assist with inventory cycle counts.
Pack and ship orders according to customer requirements.
Communicate shipping, delivery, packaging, and tagging requirements to appropriate team members.
Complete daily and weekly maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Respond to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and timely work with strong attention to detail.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.
Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures and properly use required PPE.
Report safety incidents promptly and participate in required training.
