Job Summary:
Responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and organizing materials within the warehouse or production facility. Operates forklifts safely and serves as a backup driver when needed, ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials.
Responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and organizing materials within the warehouse or production facility. Operates forklifts safely and serves as a backup driver when needed, ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments and materials.
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (valid forklift certification required).
- Transport materials within the facility to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems.
- Assist with loading and unloading for shipping and distribution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Serve as backup driver when needed, requiring a clean background check and valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain a Class E license (employee responsible for associated costs).
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts.
- Clean driving record and active driver’s license required.
- Clean background check (due to backup driver responsibilities).
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on feet for extended periods.
- Own transportation required.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
