Certified Medical Technician

DETAILS
2nd shift | 3rd shift | $19.50 – $20.50 hourly
Rotating Weekends
Location: Glasgow, KY.

About the CMT role
– Prepare, administer, and chart medications and treatment
– Take temperature, pulse, and respiration to record in the resident’s chart
– Assist with resident personal hygiene such as bathing, dental and oral care, and nail and hair care
– Collect, label, and record sputum, urine, or stool specimens for laboratory analysis
– Situate bedfast residents in correct and comfortable positions and turn residents every two hours
– Record residents’ food and fluid intake, bowel movements, and urine output

CMT Requirements

– Certified Nursing Assistant license that is active with the KY Board of Nursing or ‘Composite States’
– Must possess a Certified Medication Technician State Letter authorizing the passing of medications
– Experience is preferred but not required
– CPR Certification is preferred but can be offered on-site
