CNC Lathe & CNC VMC Setup/Operator Job Details
Monday – Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Payrate : $20-$30 DOE
CNC Lathe & CNC VMC Setup/Operator Requirements
- Prior experience running CNC machinery is required
- Demonstrated experience in setup and adjustment of tooling
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO inspection processes and standards
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and troubleshoot
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
About the CNC Lathe & CNC VMC Setup/Operator Role
As a CNC Lathe & CNC VMC your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate CNC Lathe and CNC VMC machines for production runs
- Ensure machines run reliably to meet established production rates
- Make necessary adjustments (e.g. tool wear offsets, feeds, speeds)
- Interpret and apply G-code and M-code (knowledge preferred)
- Perform hourly inspections of machined parts using precision tools (e.g. dial calipers, micrometers) per ISO requirements
- Maintain production quality and compliance with ISO standards
- Stand for extended periods during shift
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
