Pallet Assembler Requirements
- Previous carpentry or roofing experience.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Experience using nail guns, saws, or similar woodworking equipment
- Ability to measure, cut, and assemble plywood and wooden materials accurately
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
About the Pallet Assembler Role
As a Pallet Assembler, your responsibilities will include:
- Build custom wooden shipping crates using plywood and other wood materials.
- Read and follow assembly schematics and instructions to ensure crates are built to the correct specifications.
- Measure and cut wood pieces using saws and other woodworking equipment.
- Operate nail guns and hand tools to assemble crate components securely.
- Fit and fasten wooden panels to create sturdy shipping containers.
- Inspect completed crates for proper assembly, stability, and quality.
- Apply labels and identification stickers to finished crates.
- Use stencils and paint to mark crates according to shipping or customer requirements.
- Maintain an organized work area and safely store tools and materials.
- Follow all safety procedures when handling wood, saws, nail guns, and other equipment.
- Complete crate-building projects according to production expectations and quality standards.
