Bench Technician Job Details
7am-3:30pm | $19-$21/hr | Wood Dale, IL
The main responsibilities of the Bench Technician will be to repair, test, and calibrate devices such as microbalances, scales, torque and cranes.
Responsibilities of the Bench Technician will include:
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues on-site or through remote support
- Repair, service and inspect customer owned equipment
- Create evaluations in ERP system and prepare repair quotes to customers
- Learn to provide customer support and training on proper equipment use
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, issues and resolutions
- Collaborate with team member to solve problems and gain hands-on knowledge
Requirements for the Bench Technician role:
- Technical aptitude with a customer-focused mindset
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt
- HS Diploma or equivalent
