Job Description
Shipping Associate
Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $19 per hour
Shipping Associate Requirements
● Minimum one (1) year of related shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience
● Ability to prioritize workload to ensure on-time shipment of finished goods
● Experience using shipping software and computer systems
● Ability to verify part numbers, quantities, and shipping documentation accurately
● Ability to compare bills of lading, invoices, and orders for accuracy
● Experience operating material handling equipment preferred
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

About the Shipping Associate Role
As a Shipping Associate, your responsibilities will include:
● Identifying and picking finished goods using pick lists and work orders while verifying part numbers, quantities, finishes, and order accuracy
● Processing shipments via ground and LTL carriers using shipping software and computer systems
● Comparing counts, weights, and measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and orders
● Preparing, packaging, labeling, and documenting outgoing materials to ensure accurate and damage-free delivery
● Building and stacking skids for truck shipments, selecting proper packing materials such as wrap, straps, crates, or skid packs
● Attaching identifying information and shipping instructions to crates and containers
● Operating material handling equipment to move, convey, or hoist shipments to storage or work areas
● Maintaining shipping records, tracking information, and shipment history documentation
● Monitoring inventory movement and reviewing bill of materials to ensure inventory accuracy
● Maintaining inventory levels of shipping supplies and materials
