Forklift Operator Job Details
Monday – Friday | 7:00AM – 3:30PM | $18.80/hour
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Must have 1+ year of forklift driving experience
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or similar industry preferred
- Basic computer skills for data entry
- Excellent attendance and safety awareness
About the Forklift Operator Role
As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating gas propane counterbalance forklift to move materials safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trailers according to receiving schedules
- Staging shipments and preparing materials for distribution
- Creating accurate Bills of Lading and verifying shipments
- Performing daily forklift inspections and safety checks
- Maintaining clean and organized dock and warehouse areas
- Entering shipping/receiving data into computer systems
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when not operating equipment
