Crown Staffing is now hiring a 3rd shift Machine operator for the Paint Line facility, location Bensenville, IL !
3rd Shift Machine Operator Job Details
Monday – Friday | 11pm-7am | Pay rate: $19hr + $1.50 shift differential – if training on the 1st shift hourly pay is at base pay, till they get on their shift
Machine Operator Requirements
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, coating, or paint line environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Understanding of safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.
About the Machine Operator Role
As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate paint line equipment including wash stations, drying ovens, paint booths, and curing ovens.
- Hang, mask, unmask, and remove metal parts from racks or conveyor lines.
- Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, sanding, or wiping surfaces as required.
- Monitor paint thickness, color, and finish quality to meet specifications.
- Mix and load paints, powders, or coatings according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Inspect finished parts for defects, runs, or inconsistencies and report any quality issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of paint line equipment and work area.
- Track production counts and record process data accurately.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality inspectors.
