Q.C. Lab Technician 

Train on – Shift 1-10 Monday – Thursday 7am to 5pm for a month

Regular – Shift 2-10 Monday – Thursday 5pm-3am 

Pay rate $22-$25/hr. based on experience

● Overtime possible and mandatory

Q.C. Lab Requirements

● Able to stand and walk for up to an 8-hours

● Good verbal and written communication skills

● Previous manufacturing experience is required

● High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment

● Experience in quality control or production within industries such as coatings, paints, inks, dyes, or pigments

● General lab skills, computer, basic math – percentages, averages, attention to details

About the Q.C. Lab Technician

As a Q.C. Lab Technician, your responsibilities will include:

● Performs laboratory testing of organic pigments, incoming raw materials, and pigment concentrates, i.e. “Flush Color” or aqueous dispersions, to assess the quality of individual batches against established standards.

● Measure, record, and adjust color and other physical properties of liquid products as needed.

● Standardization of flushed color to customer approved standards and parameters

● Checking pigment and incoming raw materials used in the flushing process. Regular calibration and maintenance of lab equipment to ensure accurate results. Computer data entry of customer specifications and test results for information, processing and management reports
