Job Description
A company in the city of West Chicago that provides education, healthcare & hospitality furniture is looking for a Warehouse Associate.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity. 1st Shift: 7 am-4 pm Monday-Friday
Pay rate: $19.00/hr
Duties for Warehouse Associate:
– Loading, unloading, sorting, and staging inbound trucks and containers manually in a safe manner.
– Transporting products, accurately pulling/preparing orders for processing of shipments and returns, to include accepting return authorizations.
– Preparing supply orders; pulling materials; and packing boxes. Reorganizing pallet racking systems as required and organizing stock by size, type, style, and or product code.
– Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.

Requirements for Warehouse Associate:
– 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience
– Previous forklift experience preferred
– Communicates professionally and politely with customers, sales personnel, and internal staff.
– Basic computer knowledge preferred.
– High attention to detail.
