About the Service Manager – Pest Control Division Role
Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to launch and grow a new Pest Control Division for a well-established inspection services company serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. This organization is known for delivering clarity and confidence in real estate decisions through reliable inspection services and has built a strong 5-star reputation.
This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground level of a new division. The Service Manager will start hands-on with service delivery and sales, then transition into full operational leadership as the division grows. You will work directly with ownership to build systems, processes, and a high-performing team that supports long-term growth and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Startup & Division Development
- Collaborate with ownership to define pest control services, pricing structures, and service packages for residential and commercial clients.
- Research, select, and implement pest control service management software for scheduling, invoicing, reporting, and customer communication.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service protocols, and quality control measures.
Operations & Service Delivery
- Perform pest control inspections, treatments, and follow-up services during the initial launch phase.
- Set up and manage service scheduling, invoicing, and client communication systems.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, treatment reports, and product usage logs.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and company vehicle are kept clean, safe, and professional.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local pest control regulations, licensing, and safety requirements.
Sales & Growth
- Manage incoming leads from existing inspection services and other sources.
- Conduct estimates, present services, and close sales professionally.
- Build strong client relationships to drive referrals and repeat business.
- Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives and client retention strategies.
- Assist with recruiting, training, and managing pest control technicians as the division expands.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional pest control experience, including inspections, treatments, and customer interaction.
- Current state pest control license or ability to obtain required applicator/operator licensing.
- Strong operational, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience with pricing, sales, and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and grow into a management role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
