Internal Job Description:

IN PERSON INTERVIEWS – Required – All interviews will be conducted @ 8:30 pm
3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 8 pm – 4:30 am; all schedules are subject to change with business needs
• Candidates must have order-picking experience
• Candidates must have Double Blade electric pallet jack experience
• Raymond & Crown reach truck experience is a Must
• Candidates must have loading experience
• Candidates must have scanner experience
• Candidates must have steel-toed boots
• Candidates must have a strong work history – assignments/positions must be 9 months or longer
• Candidates must be able to speak/write and understand English – all voice equipment is in English

JOB SUMMARY This position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of products and loading products onto trailers according to established company and customer standards
• Use Vocollect Voice Equipment and travel to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks proper product type and quantity, labels products placed on a pallet, and loads the pallet on trucks according to proper zone, location, and established standards.
• Handles products and builds pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g. visual inspection of the product for damages, proper placement on pallets to minimise cross-contamination and damage)
• Communicate with the management team regarding any issues (e.g. products, out of stocks, safety issues)
• Operates all company warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) safely, according to company standards
• Report all equipment issues to a member of the management team
•. We use voice equipment and RF units. No wearables at this time, but may change in the future.
• Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands
• Wear personal protective equipment (e.g. safety shoes)
Qualifications
• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree
• or equivalent work experience in place of a degree
• Forklift and pallet jack license/certification
• safe lifting procedures, and food safety guidelines
• Read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
