Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

About the Shipping & Receiving Leader Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Leader to support daily warehouse operations in Elizabethtown, KY. This position plays a key role in ensuring shipments are processed accurately, trucks are loaded efficiently, and inventory records remain up to date. Ideal candidates will be organized, dependable, and comfortable communicating with customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all receiving and shipping functions, including unloading and loading trucks or delivery vehicles.
- Prepare shipping paperwork and ensure all documents are accurate and complete.
- Print and place labels on outgoing shipments.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate professionally with customers over the phone and in person.
- Use computers to update records, track shipments, and enter data.
- Operate a forklift (experience preferred; training may be available).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as needed to support workflow.
Requirements
- Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Computer literacy required (basic data entry, emails, labels, etc.).
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus due to frequent Spanish-speaking customers.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required (willingness to learn is acceptable).
