Key Responsibilities
- Complete production processes according to standardized work instructions.
- Perform required process-control, startup, and operator-maintenance checks.
- Gather the materials, tools, and equipment needed for each assignment.
- Identify and use production materials according to established procedures.
- Make approved process, job, and machine adjustments.
- Align materials and assemble parts manually or with assigned machinery.
- Take precise measurements to ensure components and materials fit correctly.
- Inspect completed components to verify that quality standards are met.
- Complete die changes according to the production schedule.
- Record daily production output.
- Review weekly process charts and maintain scrap and efficiency records.
- Notify the Team Leader or Supervisor of production, equipment, or quality concerns.
- Follow all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Follow ISO 14001 environmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and cross-training opportunities.
- Identify and share ideas for improving production processes.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
- Cooperate with coworkers and contribute to a respectful team environment.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
