Board-Certified Psychiatrist
Lexington, KY (On-Site)
Compensation: $280,000 annually
Full-Time
Direct Hire
Board-Certified Psychiatrist Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program required
- Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) required
- Active, unrestricted Kentucky medical license required
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Provide ongoing medication management for patients
- Deliver psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
- Support quality patient outcomes through evidence-based psychiatric care
