Class A CDL Route Driver – 2nd Shift
Shelbyville, KY
Salary: $49,920–$58,240/year

Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- Second shift
- Route start times range from 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Some routes may require weekend availability
- Drivers must be available to work beyond the scheduled end time when production or delivery issues arise
Class A CDL Route Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required
- Minimum of one year of professional driving experience
- Driving record must meet company requirements
- Ability to comply with DOT, state, and local transportation regulations
- Knowledge of DOT hours-of-service requirements
- Availability to drive nights and weekends when required
- Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for several hours each day
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linens at multiple medical facilities.
- Load and unload clean and soiled laundry carts.
- Complete assigned routes according to established schedules.
- Deliver products to customers safely, accurately, and on time.
- Build professional relationships with customers and provide quality service.
- Represent the company professionally while at customer facilities.
- Perform required pre-route and post-route vehicle inspections.
- Complete daily visual inspections of assigned equipment.
- Operate company vehicles safely and follow standard operating procedures.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
- Complete required route, delivery, inspection, and service paperwork.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized vehicle and work area.
- Communicate delays, equipment problems, and customer concerns to management.
- Cross-train on additional routes based on departmental needs.
- Transport equipment to service providers for maintenance and repairs when assigned.
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
