Custodian $18hr 6am-4:30pm
Position Summary
Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and office facility. This position supports daily operations through general cleaning, waste removal, floor care, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate must have previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment, including experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other custodial equipment.
Required Experience

- Experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other industrial cleaning equipment.
- Relevant experience and equipment operation skills must be clearly detailed on the resume.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain warehouse and office floors.
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
- Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
- Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies, including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, walkways, and exterior areas around the building.
- Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings, events, and special projects.
- Promptly report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with snow removal, salting, and other weather-related facility needs as required.
- Support warehouse housekeeping initiatives and 5S standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience in an industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center setting.
- Proven experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other custodial equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with team members and leadership.
- Basic maintenance knowledge preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to safely climb ladders when necessary.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Work Environment
- Warehouse, distribution center, and office environment.
- Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Occasional overtime, weekend, or holiday work may be required based on business needs.
