Forklift Driver
Crown Staffing is now hiring a full-time Forklift Driver
2nd shift: Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring inbound and outbound schedules are met. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and sophisticated packing machinery to support daily operations
- Load and unload materials as part of a team
- Pick, pack, check, and move products within the facility and on/off trailers
- Stack and store materials in designated storage bays following inventory procedures
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records
- Complete required documentation and forms
- Inspect equipment regularly and report maintenance or repair needs
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Meet quality assurance and production standards
- Report safety hazards, quality concerns, or production issues immediately
- Follow all company policies and safety guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of related warehouse or forklift experience
- RF Scanner experience preferred
- OSHA forklift certification or prior operating experience preferred

- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction from multiple supervisors
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to be cross-trained in different roles
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Language Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Spanish preferred (required in some markets)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds (with or without accommodation)
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
- Must meet vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
