Commercial Furniture Installer / General Laborer
Lexington, KY
Pay: $15.00–$17.00/hour, based on experience
Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- Typically 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Travel may be required for up to five days per week
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel as assignments require
Commercial Furniture Installer Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred
- Previous furniture installation, construction, warehouse, delivery, assembly, or general-labor experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, layouts, and manufacturer instructions
- Ability to safely handle, load, unload, assemble, and install commercial furniture
- Willingness to travel for installation projects
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Professional attitude and appearance when working at customer locations
- Strong attention to detail and installation quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Commitment to equipment and workplace-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install commercial furniture at customer locations.
- Assemble workstations, desks, shelving, filing systems, seating, and related products.
- Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and manufacturer specifications.
- Position, align, connect, and secure furniture components accurately.
- Safely load and unload furniture, materials, and installation equipment from trucks.
- Receive, inspect, organize, and warehouse incoming products.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect products and components.
- Use hand tools and installation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with furniture reconfigurations, relocations, and removal projects.
- Travel to customer locations and project sites as assigned.
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members.
- Protect customer property and maintain orderly installation areas.
- Keep tools, vehicles, warehouse areas, and job sites clean and organized.
- Follow all company, customer-site, equipment, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Perform additional installation, warehouse, delivery, and general-labor duties as assigned.
