Forklift Operator – 1st Shift
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $16.50/hour

- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous forklift-operating experience required
- Experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift
- Ability and willingness to operate the forklift type assigned by the facility
- Ability to move, stage, load, and organize warehouse materials safely
- Strong attention to product, quantity, and location accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Commitment to forklift, PPE, and workplace-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned forklifts to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Transport pallets to designated storage, staging, shipping, and receiving areas.
- Load and unload products when assigned.
- Pick, stage, and organize materials according to warehouse instructions.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and locations for accuracy.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory-control activities.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Report equipment damage, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
- Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and warehouse traffic.
- Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organized, and accessible.
- Follow all forklift, equipment, and facility-safety procedures.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
