Forklift Operator – Inventory Control
Louisville, KY
Pay: $19.50/hour

Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
- 1st shift
- Some Saturdays may be required
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous forklift-operating experience required
- Ability to operate all forklift types used at the facility
- Knowledge of inventory-control and replenishment processes
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Good numerical skills and ability to remember product and location information
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to learn and use warehouse inventory systems
- Strong organization and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to investigate and report inventory discrepancies
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Availability to work Saturdays when required
- Ability to follow forklift and warehouse-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily inventory-control and replenishment operations.
- Use computer systems to enter, review, and update inventory information.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and warehouse locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish products in assigned areas.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle-counting activities.
- Investigate and report shortages, overages, and location discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts approximately 10% of the workday.
- Operate all assigned forklift types safely and efficiently.
- Move, stage, organize, and replenish products and materials.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Report equipment damage, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material-movement records.
- Keep warehouse locations clean, organized, and accessible.
- Communicate inventory concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Perform additional inventory and warehouse duties as assigned.
