Warehouse Associate Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Experience preparing shipments through UPS and FedEx preferred
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather and temperature conditions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical warehouse duties
- Ability to operate mechanical and powered equipment safely
- Strong attention to inventory and order accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team
- Commitment to equipment and workplace-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming products, supplies, and equipment accurately.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and receiving documents.
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Stock products and equipment in assigned warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organized storage areas.
- Pull and stage customer orders according to order documentation.
- Verify item numbers and quantities before shipment.
- Package and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Process shipments through UPS and FedEx.
- Complete shipping labels and required documentation.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and material movement.
- Operate mechanical and powered equipment when trained and authorized.
- Perform basic building and grounds-maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas.
- Report inventory, equipment, shipment, or safety concerns to management.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
