Job Description
Crown Staffing is seeking a dependable Food Service Worker to assist with daily food service operations. This position supports meal preparation, recordkeeping, and kitchen cleanliness while maintaining high standards for food quality, sanitation, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist the manager with food and meal preparation.
- Help prepare and serve meals according to established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate cash receipts and meal records.
- Assist the manager with completing daily reports.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and production.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Keep kitchen and food service areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Follow workplace policies and food safety regulations.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or food preparation experience preferred.
- Basic math and counting skills for handling receipts and maintaining records.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry food supplies and equipment as required.
- Ability to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
