Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a CNC Machinist.
CNC Machinist Job Details
Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday (Friday overtime availability required)
Pay Rate: $22.00–$24.00/hr

CNC Machinist Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- Connector PPW required.
- Technical college education or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1+ year of experience operating and setting up CNC mills and manual milling equipment.
- Experience with CNC lathes and mills.
- Ability to edit CNC lathe programs as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and product specifications.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
- Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Ability to assist-lift up to 35 lbs.
About the CNC Machinist Role
As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills safely and efficiently.
- Call up programs and set up tooling for CNC lathes.
- Edit CNC lathe programs as necessary.
- Measure parts and make tool corrections during production.
- Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure the correct cutting inserts are used for each material.
- Produce high-quality, high-volume parts while working to reduce cycle time.
- Clean, count, deburr, assemble, and properly handle finished parts.
- Perform daily equipment upkeep and routine maintenance.
- Inventory and document tooling and inserts.
- Support the company's quality management program.
- Provide instruction and support to less-skilled employees on CNC machine operation and setup.
- Follow all production, safety, and quality procedures.
