- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Saturdays from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Consistent attendance is essential

- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, drivers, yard employees, and warehouse personnel
- Strong attention to detail when recording weights and processing transactions
- Basic accounting and payment-processing skills
- Ability to prepare accurate daily reports
- Experience using computers, telephones, and standard office equipment
- Experience with truck scales or weighing systems preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh industrial trucks and customer vehicles using the truck-scale system.
- Record incoming and outgoing vehicle weights accurately.
- Communicate load information to yard and warehouse employees.
- Process payments to customers for recycled metals.
- Enter all customer, load, weight, and payment transactions into the computer system.
- Account for incoming and outbound loads.
- Verify transaction information for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain required daily reports.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct information appropriately.
- Provide professional customer service to commercial drivers and individual customers.
- Communicate delays, discrepancies, and special instructions to the appropriate team members.
- Resolve routine customer and transaction concerns.
- Maintain organized and accurate records.
- Perform additional scale-house and administrative duties as assigned.
