Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous forklift-operating experience preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Ability to support a fast-paced manufacturing line
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to organize and stage materials accurately
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Commitment to equipment safety and workplace procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to support disc-line production.
- Move and stage materials needed for manufacturing operations.
- Deliver components and supplies to designated production areas.
- Remove completed materials from the disc line as directed.
- Keep production materials organized and properly located.
- Follow production schedules and material requests.
- Inspect the forklift and report equipment concerns.
- Report damaged materials, inventory issues, or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all forklift, manufacturing, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Perform additional material-handling duties as assigned.
