About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations in Shelbyville, KY. In this role, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs in support of quality and safety standards
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production and auxiliary equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain facility and utility-related equipment
- Support preventative maintenance programs and equipment rebuilds
- Assist in training and supporting maintenance team members
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support small projects to improve equipment performance and reliability
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron preferred)
- Knowledge of motor controls and electrical systems, including 480V and 3-phase
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical certification (Cat 2 or equivalent)
- Experience with machine shop or fabrication work
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems
