Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading materials, operating equipment, accurately receiving and shipping products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-driven, and committed to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Stack and retrieve supplies and materials from staging and storage areas.
- Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently.
- Accurately receive inbound products by inspecting for damages and verifying materials against manifests and purchase orders.
- Read and interpret picking tickets to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Safely and accurately package products for shipment.
- Store and stack materials properly to maintain organization and prevent damage.
- Load outbound trucks efficiently, including:
- Greet and interact with drivers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Attend and actively participate in all required safety meetings and trainings.
Qualifications
- Required: Previous stand-up forklift experience.
- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret picking tickets and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
