Job Details
Days Worked: Monday – Friday 2:00PM-10:30PM Pay:$19
Material Handler Requirements
- 0–2 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
- Familiarity with shipping practices, packaging standards, and material handling methods
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards
- Ability to follow established procedures and shipping documentation requirements
- Ability to obtain certification to operate a forklift or powered industrial truck/walker
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
About the Material Handler Role
As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments according to established procedures and standards
- Process shipments including sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping materials
- Audit shipments to ensure items match customer orders prior to packing
- Pack and label products following company packaging standards
- Ensure all required equipment, manuals, and accessories are included with shipments
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and organized records
- Assist with scheduling daily transportation and shipment coordination
- Maintain material inventory levels using the Kanban inventory management system
