3rd Shift Machine Operator Job Details
Monday–Friday | 10pm – 6am |$21-$22/hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Machine Operator Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of machinine operator experience (required)
- Ability to operate manual vertical mills, horizontal lathes, and drill presses
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
About the Machine Operator Role
As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, and drill presses
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
- Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Performing machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
- Maintaining accuracy and precision while machining components
- Troubleshooting machining issues and making corrections
- Following all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Using basic computer systems to document work and access instructions
- Supporting production goals by meeting efficiency and quality targets
