This role involves moving trucks and trailers into docks and around the yard while adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Move trucks and trailers into docks and designated yard areas efficiently and safely.
- Operate a forklift to assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper operation and report any issues.
- Adhere to basic safety principles, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain an organized and clean yard area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Proven ability to operate forklifts and yard equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of basic safety principles, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage yard activities.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled hours consistently.
