Job Summary
Operates and maintains presses and dies to stamp snap and button products. Operates material handling equipment and computer systems to store and retrieve raw material and scrap. Fills in for production supervision as needed.

Stamp Operator/Set-Up Requirements
-Follows company policies and procedures in regard to Safety, Code of Ethics, Company Rules,
5S, OSHA standards, ISO Quality Standards, ISO Environmental Standards, Work Instructions, and Confidential Information reporting possible violations to Management.
-Operates presses and sets dies in accordance with work instructions.
-Repairs and maintains stamp equipment by inspecting and performing routine PM using prints, micrometers, calipers, and other mechanical measurement devices.
-Uses computer systems to operate equipment, enter production, access product standards, access work instructions, and access safety data. Must be proficient in basic math and have a high mechanical aptitude.
-Operates material handling equipment as needed.
-Inspects product to verify product conformance using product prints and mechanical measurement devices.
-Fills in for supervision by answering production questions, providing job cards, production priorities, attending routine meetings, and reporting any issues or needs to upper management.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Requirements
Education/Experience
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications
-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
