Crown Staffing is Hiring: Press Brake Operator – Franklin, OH
Are you a skilled Press Brake Operator looking for a great opportunity? Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Franklin, OH. This role offers competitive pay and the chance to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Pay: $20–$25/hour DOE (Negotiable for highly experienced candidates)
Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal and plates per specifications and blueprints.
- Choose appropriate punches and dies, calculate tonnage and bend factors.
- Set up tooling and fixtures for various bending operations.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Operate water jet equipment and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, scales).
- Load/unload materials and parts, deburr, inspect, and maintain equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols.
- Communicate with management and team members to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Meet or exceed production rates while upholding quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous Press Brake experience is required.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial settings.
- Experience with sheet metal, water jet operations, and metalworking equipment (lathes, milling machines, cranes).
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to quality and teamwork.
